Chester FC visit Gloucester, on Tuesday night, looking to build on back-to-back National League North victories.
Calum McIntyre’s men have responded well to their first loss in 17 games earlier in the month by defeating King’s Lynn away from home and then Boston at the Deva, both 1-0, to move up to fifth in the table.
It took 95 minutes to find the winner on the weekend as Declan Weeks struck, but it was just reward for a dominant display right to the end, which saw the Blues muster 17 shots to the Pilgrims’ 2 in the game.
Gloucester City sit 10th in the league, and will be looking to cut the five-point gap between themselves and the play-off places. Dom McHale is the dangerman, having scooped up the National League North Player of the Month Award for January, he has four goals in his last three matches.
Kick off on Tuesday evening is 7.45pm.
