North Wales Police have received a report of a silver Toyota approaching people in the street offering to sell iPhones and large flat screen TV's at a massive discounted price.
It is reported that the TV's which are being offered to people do not work and the iPhones are fake.
Please remember if something sounds to good to be true.. it more than likely is!
Consider the following crime prevention advice:
Try and avoid paying cash. Always use PayPal or direct bank transfer where possible to ensure payment is protected.
If something seems to good to be true... It more than likely is.
Always ask to see proof that the item is in working order.
Never share your banking details or personal details with others.
Never feel "pressured" into making a purchase on the spot, always take your time to think about the situation.
If in doubt, walk away!
