Chester BID has announced that Santa’s Enchanted Grotto is now fully sold out after hundreds of families booked in for the magical woodland experience.
Santa’s Enchanted Grotto is a new initiative entirely funded through the city businesses via the team at Chester BID. It was conceived in an effort to bring further Christmas experiences into the city and boost footfall for the city’s high street businesses.
Emily Ghazarian, marketing and events manager, Chester BID said: ‘Staffed entirely by local performers and managed by local businesses, our enchanted grotto was a true high-street community effort.
‘Grosvenor Shopping Centre kindly gifted the space for free, independent toy shop Weasel and Bug sourced the toys from Santa, and The Body Shop provided free hand sanitiser. Corner Store Donuts, Costa and the indoor market provided support with refreshments too. It is a testament to how our city centre businesses work together for the common good!’
As the Grotto is now sold out, Chester BID are keen to point out the other Santa and festive experiences still available in the city centre.
