Justin Madders MP supports the Tickled Pink campaign

People are being encouraged to regularly check their upper bodies so they can spot any signs of changes early.

As we approach Mother’s Day on March 30th, Asda’s award-winning charity partnership Tickled Pink is again reminding everyone to check their boobs, pecs and chests.

The charity’s promoters are being supported by Justin Madders, MP for Ellesmere Port and Bromborough, who served as Shadow Health Minister in the last Parliament. He says the checks could be potentially life-saving and points out that the earlier breast cancer is detected and diagnosed, the better the chance of successful treatment.

Mr Madders said:

“Tickled Pink is a long-running and award-winning fundraising and awareness partnership between Asda, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!, which is in its 28th year and has raised more than £92 million – with £8.7m raised last year alone.

“Tickled Pink is well on track to smash its target of raising over £100m for breast cancer charities by the end of 2026.”

Tickled Pink campaign organisers want a million more people to be checking regularly by 2026, with at least 100,000 people who have never previously checked starting this important habit.
