Chester will once again be aiming for an upturn in form this weekend, as Chorley visit the Deva.
Last Saturday’s disappointing 3-0 defeat at Leamington made it four losses in a row in the league, as the Blues sit 17th in the table with 28 points from 29 matches.
Chorley meanwhile sit sixth in the table and well positioned in the play-off places – but have lost their last two. Both came away from home, and both against recent shared opponents with the Blues in Leamington and Darlington.
The Seals will take encouragement from their last game against a side sat in the top seven – the five-goal demolition of Southport.
Manager Steve Watson could welcome back some key faces on Saturday, as only George Waring was unavailable for training during the week. It is however a game expected to come too soon for Danny Livesey and Anthony Dudley, who are both short of match fitness.
Kick off on Saturday afternoon is 3pm.
