Chester travel to North Yorkshire for a rearranged fixture this afternoon, as they face York City at Bootham Crescent.
The initial fixture, scheduled for 7th November, was postponed due to positive COVID tests within the Blues ranks.
Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley’s side got back to winning ways with an important 3-0 victory at the Deva against Alfreton Town on Tuesday night, picking up their first clean sheet of the campaign in the process as well.
York were also winners by the same scoreline midweek, victorious at Blyth Spartans on Wednesday. The Minstermen sit 13th in the table but have only played six matches so far due to COVID related postponements – and have lost just the one game in the process.
