North Wales Police are receiving reports of off-road bikes being ridden in the area of Dock Road and Hawarden railway bridge.
Flintshire North officers will be increasing patrols in those areas and we are working with our partners to take positive action against those identified.
Sgt Dave Smith said:
“Off road bikes are a blight on our roads and public spaces. Riders are putting themselves and members of the community at risk of serious harm. Off road bikes can only be used on private land with the land owners permission.
For clarification, the land owners of the old power station site and Flintshire County Council do not give permission for off-road bikes to be ridden on their land.
Robust action will be taken against those found riding them on our roads and any spaces where they do not have the land owner’s permission.
If you have any information to help us identify those that are riding off road bikes in the Flintshire area please report on 101 or on our website.
This is a community issue and we need to work together to make our area safer.
