VINCI Construction UK, currently working on Chester’s development of Northgate and in Ellesmere Port for a new public hub building is the latest company to become a Corporate Partner of the City’s Grosvenor Museum.
The news comes at the same time as archaeologists working on the Northgate development have discovered several important Roman artefacts including a rare gaming piece made from bone.

In return for their generous financial support, the museums Corporate Partners can choose from three levels of membership and receive benefits including VIP invitations to attend exhibition openings and discounted hire of the Grosvenor Museum’s lecture theatre. In addition, partners can sponsor an object of their choice and become involved in the day to day running of the museum. Staff from the museum’s current Corporate Partners have helped with washing finds from archaeological digs and conserving important artefacts.
Councillor Louise Gittins, Leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council said: “We are grateful to VINCI Construction UK for choosing to support the Grosvenor Museum and help to conserve the City’s important heritage.
